Atg 2013 Day 17 B - Irony

Day 17, Topic was "A pony broken up/a pony in mourning". This is the second of two images I did for today's topic.

A much older Rainbow Dash says goodbye to the last of her friends. The irony of the daredevil living the longest is not lost on her.

I'm not sure how happy I am with Rainbow Dash, but I am rather happy with the tombstones. I When I greyed down her colours, I ended up increasing the saturation of her eyes to make her look a bit more alert.

All work was done by mouse in Paint Shop Pro 7 over 5 layers (sketch 1, sketch 2, Rainbow Dash, scenery, and smudges on the tombstones)
