I wrote a journal about the 2013 one, might as well do it for the last one I did, even if it is a month late due to getting visitors. While the length reduction was welcome, the selection of topics was unfortunately a bit biased towards Christmas, which anyone who's looked through my gallery knows I'm no fan of. Yesterday was the last day of Equestria Daily's Newbie Artist Training Grounds event. It was also the first full-lenth such event I was able to participate in (hadn't found EqD until well after the first one finished, didn't find out about the second one until halfway through). Despite it being a lot of work (an image a day for 30 days, and given my daily structure, only a five-hour window to do it), it was also a lot of fun, even if some of the topics were hard to figure out scenes for.
